'The Tame Painter' wins Six Awards at the AIT .motion Showcase

The Tame Painter has been recognised at the Academy of Information Technology's .motion showcase.

The short film directed by Dominic Dimech with cinematography by Charles C. Meyer, not only won the award for Best Film, but was also recognised for Best Production Design, Best Cinematography, Best Editing, Best Director, and as People's Choice.

The Tame Painter is a hauntingly beautiful film that follows the tale of Darcy (Rebekah Mowbray), a young and gifted aspiring painter as she struggles to receive the recognition that she has worked for whilst under the boot of her mentor, Luscious Von Hellquist (Karl Webster). The film also stars Kate Jirelle (credited as Kate Michelle Simms) as the naive and eternally optimistic, Pandora and Ralph Dunkerley as art critic, Grundleberg.
