Kate Jirelle recognised as 'Best International Supporting Actress' at Prodigy Film Festival
The Prodigy Film Festival has recognised Kate Jirelle's talent by awarding her Best International Supporting Actress for her portrayal of Pandora in The Tame Painter.
Credited in the film as Kate Michelle Simms, her work captures the innocence and optimism of Pandora who is unwittingly caught in the crossfire, as lead character Darcy (Rebekah Mowbray) fights for recognition while under the boot of her mentor Lucious Von Hellquist (Karl Webster).
The Prodigy Film Festival also recognised The Tame Painter as the Best International Student Film, and lead actors Rebekah Mowbray and Karl Webster, as Best International Actress and Best International Actor respectively.
