Tickets Now On Sale for 'Things I Know To Be True'
Tickets for Castle Hill Players' second production of Things I Know To Be True are now on sale.
Families are funny. Things don’t always turn out the way you think they will. Children don’t always live up to expectations or do things the way their parents did. That’s what the Prices find out in this family drama set in modern-day Australia. Fran and Bob love their four kids dearly. Their kids love them just as much. But they don’t necessarily see eye to eye about everything … and sometimes that comes as a shock.
Join them in the garden that has been the backdrop to so many events in their lives. The garden where they learn through each season of one turbulent year, that the love and understanding that bind them as a family are even more powerful than any of them could have imagined.
In this heartfelt and poignant examination of family life in suburban Australia, Kate Jirelle brings the free-spirited Rosie Price to life. Regarding her character she says "From the minute I read the script, I knew I had to play Rosie. As the youngest sibling in my own family, I've enjoyed exploring Rosie's journey as she struggles between wanting things to stay the same, but also wanting to grow up and find her voice among the people she loves more than anything in this world".
Kate will be joined on stage by Annette Van Roden (Fran), Stephen Snars (Bob), Celeste Healey (Pip), Adam Garden (Mark) and Ben Freeman (Ben).
Things I Know To Be True will be playing at the Pavilion Theatre, Castle Hill from 27th March to 18th April. Tickets can be booked online or by phone on (02) 9634 2929.
